Jan Vezikov

Jan, pronounced “yahn,” (as in “never beyond grace” or “yarn” with a Boston accent) moved to Boston in July, 2009 with his family to plant a church. Pastor Jan was born in Estonia, but grew up in the great state of Rhode Island. He graduated with a triple major in International Relations, Business Economics, and Slavic Studies from Brown University, in Providence, RI. After working a couple years as an analyst, Jan devoted several years to studying theology and the Scriptures. In May 2009, he graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity degree, focusing in Advanced Biblical studies. He holds a ThM degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and is pursuing his Doctorate of Ministry from Westminster Theological Seminary. Pastor Jan has also completed a church planting residency with Fellowship Associates and a pastoral residency with the Ockenga Fellows Institute. Most importantly, however, Jan loves Jesus, his beautiful wife Tanya, and their four daughters Sophia, Elizabeth, Ekaterina, and Milana. 

Dr. Alfred Poirier

Dr. Alfred Poirier (DMin, Westminster Theological Seminary) is professor of pastoral theology at Westminster Theological Seminary.

Dr. Poirier has held several additional teaching positions and has 38 years of pastoral ministry experience, including his time as a pastor at Rocky Mountain Community Church (PCA) in Billings, Montana for 26 years. Dr. Poirier’s academic interests lie in the areas of pastoral counseling and expository preaching. He is the author of The Peacemaking Pastor (Baker, 2006), and Words that Cut: Learning to Take Criticism in Light of the Gospel (Peacemaker Ministries) and several articles in The Journal of Biblical Counseling.

Dr. Poirier has been married to his wife, Trudy, for 44 years and together they have 3 children: Sarah Clark, Sonja Stordahl, and Anya Valeriano; and 11 grandchildren.

Dr. David B. Garner

The Rev. Dr. David B. Garner is Chief Academic Officer, Vice President of Global Ministries, and Charles Krahe Professor of Systematic Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA, USA. A graduate of the University of North Carolina (BS, 1987), Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM, 1992) and Westminster Theological Seminary (PhD, 2002), David Garner has served in theological education, pastoral ministry, missions, and parachurch ministries since 1986. He has lived and taught in various parts of the world, including Europe, Central America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. From 2003–2007, he served as Director for TE3 (Theological Education for Eastern Europe), a regional theological training ministry based in Sofia, Bulgaria. Since 2007, he has taught systematic theology and missiology at Westminster Theological Seminary. While at Westminster, he also served as Pastor of Teaching at Proclamation Presbyterian Church, in Bryn Mawr, PA (2012–2015). His primary theological interests include the doctrine of adoption, Scripture and revelation, Christology, and ecclesiology—with special concern for the faithful interface between the church, theology and mission.

Slav Mukha

Slav Mukha is a wretched sinner saved by God's grace who grew up at EPC church since he was 10 years old. His primary ministry is caring for his wife Maryana and 6 children and he serves as a deacon at EPC. Professionally he is a Physical Therapist. He is pursuing a Mdiv. degree at Westminster Theological Seminary and he previously studied Theology at Liberty University Rawlings School of Divinity. He is passionate about the teaching and preaching the Bible and is praying that the Holy Spirit would move powerfully in the hearts of the hearers as the Word is preached at PBS Conference.

Paul Onufriychuk

Paul Onufriychuk, M.Div., was born in the Chernivtsi region of Ukraine. In 1995, he received his bachelor's degree from Chernivtsi Federal University. In 2002, he received his Master of Theological Studies from Moscow Theological Seminary. He has preached in Russia since 1995, and from 2003–2014, he was the rector and academic dean of Moscow Theological Institute of Christians of Evangelical Faith. He was also a pastor of the Church of Birth of Christ from 2008–2022. In 2022, Paul moved to the US and became the senior pastor of Today's Church in Columbus, OH. He has been married to Angelica since 1995, and they have five wonderful children together. Paul is passionate about theology and preaching and continues to teach seminary courses through International Bible Seminary in the US.
